A few years ago I decided to move to ChromeOS as my primary machine and since that day I have not looked back. The main factor that contributed to my decision was the Linux support. Back then my old brother printer was not supported by ChromeBooks and Linux solved this problem for me. Google has done a great job on it’s end and for anyone who is a developer the Linux Container is a great tool.
However I soon discovered that it would be hard for non-developers to easily utilize this feature. And sometimes I broke my container while experimenting and, it would take a while for me to reset it. So I created a set of OS/Tool combinations that I liked best and that resulted in the appliances I have hosted on this site.
However sky is the limit on what can be done with Linux and if you need to tailor your container to your specific needs then please drop me a line. I would love to collaborate with you on your idea.
